Does Changan also plan to introduce its EVs in Nepal? If so, when will it get pushed forward?
Yes, Changan Auto plans to introduce its EV ranges in the Nepalese market. Changan Auto has the highest number of EV models in the automobile market. The demand for EVs in the Nepalese market is rising and keeping this in mind, Changan Auto has extensive plans to fulfill those demands. It won’t be long before the Changan Auto EVs will be gracing the roads of Nepal.
How competitive is the challenge from other Chinese brands in the market? What do you think are the key challenges?
There are other decent Chinese brands in the market offering high-quality vehicles in their portfolio. However, we don’t feel there are challenges from incoming Chinese brands. Despite all this, the presence of other Chinese brands will allow us to gain the pinnacle spot in the Nepalese automobile field.
Of course, China is on the course of building the best cars in the world, however, many Chinese cars have a reputation of being an unproven and unreliable purchases mainly because of the poor dealership network, lackluster build quality, and unavailability of spare parts. How does Changan Motors plan to tackle this pitfall?
